USA chapter: Grand Teton and Yellowstone
There is so much to tell about this trip, and so little words :)
It's heading towards winter here, the time when trees turn golden, days grow shorter, and the air has that special autumn feeling about it. We planned this trip for 3 months. The problem with US National Parks is that at some point they get so popular that the places where one can stay have to be booked months in advance. So, to put it simply we had a lot of time to prepare for it :)
Over the period of 4 days we drove exactly 1635km (1015miles) from Salt Lake City to the northern part of Yellowstone and back, and it was one of the best road trips so far this year. An abundance of wildlife in the national parks is just stunning. Although, we might be a bit biased coming from the country that has mostly birds and no large mammals in the wild :) But the fact that at the end of this trip Yuliya was seriously thinking about requalifying as wildlife photographers does mean a lot :)
