USA chapter: From Las Vegas to San Francisco
Our first road trip in the US! After 3 months of lounging around, we decided that we have adjusted enough to get out of the city and enjoy some American scenery.
After about a week of planning and frantically booking every booked out hotel in Yosemite Valley we set out to drive from Las Vegas to San Francisco - a trip that took us across some amazing places, from the heat of the Death Valley 85m below sea level to the heights of the Yosemite National Park where we went over 3000m above sea level.
Over these 3 days, we drove a lot, we walked a lot, we sweated even more, and we never had enough water with us :P We nearly ran over a hare in the desert and a deer in the park. Saw no rattlesnakes and no bears *sadface*, but made friends with squirrels and lizards :) So, overall we can probably say, it was the most satisfying and exhausting 3 days in a long while...
