Cape Kidnappers Gannet Reserve
The 13 hectare reserve with the Saddle and Black Reef gannet colonies.
Overall 20.6km walk. First, we stopped after 8km and were going to go back when suddenly realised that we were 2km away from the main colony. So, 30min before the required return because of the high tide we sprinted 2km uphill to the plateau with 100m elevation... Quite a strenuous exercise for someone who was awake since 5am...
